Hi Max,

Thanks for your information. To the best of my knowledge there is no Lancaster or Hudson reported crashed in or around Wastwater, of course either type if in Wastwater could be of those many hundreds that went missing in WW2, so I am not disputing the fact that it is a possiblity, however, I would need some convicing, as many rumours have stirred regarding this subject. If for instance a diver were to bring up a piece of the airframe with a part number I could take it from there, so far nobdy ever has, so as far as I am aware there is only the Avenger, and perhaps some parts off a light aircraft that crash nearby.

I will of course be very interested if you or any of your diving collegues should find such an item, that I could put an identity to at least the type with such a part number.
