I came across this site purely by chance and was astonished! You see, the pilot of Meteor WD778 was my brother. I thought he had crashed in Yorkshire and had no idea where he was buried. The pictures of the crash site profoundly moved me. I was barely eight at the time, but can still clearly remember him. John was a remarkable chap and his love of flying had a deep and enduring affect on me. To the extent that, after many years of skydiving, I have earned my Private Pilots Licence just a few weeks ago. And so in my humble way I follow in his footsteps.

Could you please let me know where he is buried and, if possible, the coordinates of the crash site? I am very grateful for the way in which you have commemorated his memory, thank you.
