Hehe.... I'm one of those guys who notices when a stunt double is used, and I can easily see in this scene that a stunt double was used. All the far away shots are a stunt double. Nothing wrong with that. If Jeff could have done those amazing stunts himself I think he would be a greater contender for the olympics than his ex ;)

In one shot of Brundle carrying Tawny up the stairs, you can see it's his stunt double.

I also heard that a stunt double was used for the scene where Brundle's head explodes as a result of the shotgun round.....
