The workshop program was specially designed for professional stage artists who are inspired by
Michael Chekhov's Acting Technique, who are interested to establish deeper understanding of his approach and to integrate his ideas into their practical work - rehearsal process, performance and teaching.

PRACTICAL PART:
• Imagination and attention in the process of physical actions
• Individual feelings and physical action
• The psychological gesture and physical action
• The psychological gesture and actor’s body
• Incorporation of the image and characterization
• Improvisation as a method of rehearsal

THEORETICAL PART: Discussion club “Contemporary Directing”

PARTICIPANTS:
actors of drama, physical,
musical and dance theatres
theatre directors
teachers of theatre methods
dancers, choreographers
senior students of theatre and dance departments

The orgaizers provide participants with accommodation
and three meals per day during the workshop.

The venue is located not far from the historical place where Michael Chekhov carried out theatre workshops with his students in 1930s.
