how do i fix my retainer?

hi there,
i have a problem. my retainer broke. i have an important meeting tomorrow and i've been wearing my reatiners for 2 weeks straight. if i don't wear my retainers for more than 5 hours my teeth start to separate. i'm afraid if i don't wear them until i can get them fixed i'm going to have a huge gap. how can i temporarily fix them until i can see my orthodontist? do you think maybe denture glue will keep it together for a while? thanks
