There have been dramatic improvements in lingual braces. It sounds like you were one of the first generation of lingual braces wearers. As with any field the technologies, products, and techniques advance at a feverish pace. THis is definitley true for linguual braces and orthodontics in general. It sounds like you may not have been a good candidate for lingual braces. The Docs would have had no idea back then since the techniques were in their infancy. I am glad you switched to labial braces and finished your treatment I am sure you got a great result and wish you well.
