Subject: (() News ()) Author: Nyx and Johnny [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 14:52:28 09/22/04 Wed It was a quiet evening, just a few minutes after sunset but the glow of the sun was still clinging in the almost fall night around them. It was Nyx who broke the stillness of their surroundings as he lit a cigarette and placed it to his lips. Restless and longing for movement, Nyx was fidgeting with his jean jacket while Johnny, thought provoked for some time, was shaken from his unreality. The alley was empty, dark, damp, and the farthest place from where Johnny wanted to be. He couldn’t help but glare into the faces of those that passed with knowing smiles and sly secrets. However, Nyx met each stranger with his own sly responding smile that confirmed the passersby’s suspicion. It was a business endeavor they were here for and any with the cash could partake. Nyx and Johnny where from different worlds, but Johnny had been drawn into this un-favored lifestyle by Nyx a few years back and he loathed everyday he had to wake up to it. Each day was worse than the last and he could find no escape. And that isn’t to say he didn’t try. He’d tried before. And Nyx had threatened him within an inch of his life. The way Johnny figured it…if Nyx wasn’t happy- no one was. And what had become of all these wonderful things Johnny had found in his life here at Cascade? What happened to Rebecca and Rhosyn? What had become of the friends he’d made? Nyx had destroyed them…said they didn’t belong. Really, all he’d done was cover his own tail by not allowing Johnny the chance for an escape to freedom. He’d been drawn back into the web of his imprisonment. And so, it was no surprise to Johnny in this world of his despise and his unhappiness that a light rain fell on his unprotected cloths.
