Subject: Keeping watch.... Author: Akito [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 12:31:47 04/12/01 Thu Akito was running. He was in the middle of an empty barren field and was running for his life. Glancing back he saw the Debiru chasing him, its eyes glowed red and it released an ear-shattering roar. When he looked closer Akito noticed it had a humanoid shape... it ran on two legs and it was carrying a sword but it wasn't Eraxus. That's when Akito tripped and fell he looked back to see the demon running at him but just at the last second Akito WAS the chaser. He swung his sword at the screaming victim and laughed as the blood spattered over his armor. Akito sat up covered with a cold sweat. He looked around and saw he was in his living room. Looking down at his side he saw the bandage and that he wasn't bleeding. Standing he noticed Nao asleep on the floor he watched her sleep for a few seconds before reaching down and gently lifting her and putting her on the couch. That's when he noticed the blinking light on the answering machine he walked over and pushed the button. "Akito, we ran into some trouble and we're going to have to stay in Kyoto for a few more days." Akito sighed at the sound of his mother's voice. "So what else is new?" Akito walked back over to the window and once again found himself staring out at the city watching for Debiru... until the sun started rising. At least there's no school today.
