He has taught the world so much, when it comes to the study of the unconscious. I read Jung like some might read a biblical script -- although not to be taken its literal sense, the symbology that he wrote with leaves us with a vast quantity and precious quality of food for thought and enrichment. It would be interesting to study a story, such as the one that you have mentioned, Cinderella, and approach it from the traditional Germanic perspective, then reseach the Jungian perspective, who was German, after all. Your insight, Jenna, that the same archetypes are strung like beads through diverse cultures world wide is an area that is of great import to me, because, as you have clearly pointed out, it points to the aspect of common themes through each culture.
