Subject: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, BO AND GABRIELLE!!

WAHOO!! Today is the DAY!! One year ago today was the pre-engagement party SHINDIG!!

I love every second of that episode!! Bo's pacing in the living room, and he shouts, "Gabrielle, you gotta hustle it up! We're gonna be late for this engagement shindig!"
"Would you just hold your horses!?" she called angrily back from the bedroom.
"Hold my -- pssh. Women. Never know anything about punctu--" Gabrielle came out and struck a few poses in her outfit. "Wow!" Bo said.
Gabrielle giggled. "I'm ready."
"Yes, I would say that you are," Bo said as he tried to kiss her, but she pulled back.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" she innocently questioned.
"No...?"
"No?"
"No, what, me? What?"
"Your gift," she said, pulling out her own, "for the lucky couple. THIS took me hours to pick out the perfect thing."
"...I don't have a gift! I f-- I f-- oh, I forgot! I -- it's too late now to get anything," Bo said desperately.
"Hmm," said Gabrielle, thoughtfully. Bo tapped the blue box with his finger.
"But this, this is um... it's a beautiful gift....."

Bo tried to get Gabrielle to share her gift with him and was shocked when she blatantly refused to do so. And then, I love this part, she was like, "No, I think the two of us should give separate gifts, don't you think so?" and Bo had the BEST look on his face and went "No! I don't!!" and you could tell that he was doing everything in his power to get her to share her gift because he forgot to get one himself. Then he explained how it was obvious that she didn't want to be publicly linked with him romantically and he put on that sad, puppy dog look.
"And I guess... well I bet that no amount of public...announcements would make this right for you?"
"Probably not," he said sadly.
"The only thing that would make it right for you is if, um... we shared my gift..."
"Pretty much..."
Gabrielle sighed. "Well, then I guess I don't have a choice, do I?"
Bo smiled. "That's great, good!" he said, and kissed her," Great, ok, then... let's get goin, babe, because we are gonna be late!"

And then here is everyone's favorite part ... WOODY WOOD PECKER :) "There's a problem, you see, because the card is already signed!"
"...I can remedy that, right away!!" And as he pulled the card out to add his name and discovered it was already there, he smiled. "Yeah, you already signed the card. And it's from you... and me..." He laughed and Gabrielle came over and put one arm around him.
"Perhaps I am one of those women, after all."
"Yeah, well... I can live with that... By the way; what did we get 'em?"
Gabrielle put her hands on his arms. "Trust me. They're going to love it," she said and smiled.
"I more than just trust you," he said and he kissed her and smiled. Then she bit her lip and gave him that unmistakable "Come on, kiss me again!" look, so he did :) And then that's when they completely forgot that they had anywhere to be and had their little quickie on the floor ^_^

The THIRD scene was the BEST!! They're scrambling to put their clothes back on because now they're REALLY late!!
"Well, it's your fault, because you didn't buy a gift!" Gabrielle said defensively.
"My fault!? You could have come right out and told me that I was already covered! You didn't have to tease me into like a temptation, or a... some kind of a seduction thing!!"
Gabrielle giggled. "Some thing tells me you--" she kisses him "--didn't mind it!" she said grinning.
"We'll argue about this in the car. Come on. AND YOU DON'T SIT BY ME IN THE CAR, YOU SIT IN THE BACKSEAT!"
"Oh!"
"Go!"
Then they ran out and totally forgot the gift which was the cause of their tardiness in the first place!!! :) The Bo ran back inside to get it, with his overshirt thing still only half on and Gabrielle appeared at the door still buttoning up her shirt as he grabbed the gift and started to go back out the door.
"BAG!! Bag!" Gabrielle said pointing to her purse which was also left behind, and fixing her really messy hair. Bo retrieved that too and they rushed back out the door.

And of course the last scene where Carlotta was looking at the gift and went "Oh, isn't that gorgeous? You're so busy, Bo, I hope you didn't go through too much trouble..."
"Oh, Carlotta, you have no idea," he answered, and Gabrielle smiled and nodded.

You can tell this is just about my favorite episode :-D

Whoo! That was fun ^_^ I wrote that whole thing without any assistance -- no television, no transcripts, nothing :)

This is where I planned to talk about today's eppie, but seeing how I haven't seen it yet due to lack of presence and the fact that it hasn't aired yet when this message is posted, I'll have to do that much later. I hope everything's OK!! I cannot wait!! I won't be back until around 8:30, 9:00, then I won't post until after I watch the show... maybe you will hear from me tomorrow in school (I'll be online between 9:20 and 10:35 in the morning) if you don't hear from me today again. Hope all went well today!!

Ahh! She did it! She broke it off with Bo! NOOO!!! I'm still wringing out mah handkecheif!

I was really counting on Bo doing something about this whole situation -- something MORE! I know he tried to talk to her and I know that he's trying to give her space (because that's probably what he wanted when he lost Drew), but I was really looking forward to some beggin' and pleadin' for her not to do it. But I have to say, I love every second they spent together today! I really wish she had let him hold her at least once, thoguh. Before she said what she siad about not being able to tell him if she was in his arms. Maybe when she first came in? I just wish she could've given him a chance to comfort her. But it was just so emotionally perfect, I can live without it becasue I know it's going to get SOOO great!

Did anyone else find that whole Nora thing just a smidgen ridiculous? JUST A LITTLE!? She just shows up with gagmatic food and sits down and starts unpacking it like she lives on that bench. PUH-LEASE! Give the man some space, you whore! The whole time I was watching that I was thinking "Jesus, if Gabrielle walks by, she's going to hang herself!"

Well, we finally got what we've always wanted, but never dreamed we would -- Bo said "I love you" more than she did!

Thanks for posting about the anniversary! I can always count on you! That was a great day we call, "Woody Woodpecker DAY!!!" *wink* There are more anniversaries to come, though! Whoo Hoo.....such as, the day Bo proposes to Gabrielle AGAIN!!!!:) :) :) We got that to look forward too cuz it's gonna happen!

Of course I 'membered, it's one of mah favorite eppies ^-^ I can't wait until Bo proposes again ^-^ I really hope that Marcie talks some sense into Gabrielle tomorrow =-O
