Turkeykiller, I'm a small callmaker in upstate N.Y. and use mostly exotics for the same reason. I have a zebrawood box that I've hunted with for about 5 seasons. This remains one of my favorite calls and many birds have fallen to it. I recently made a few boxes out of Kingwood with Hard Maple end blocks and inlay on the paddle. This is a beautiful call, try it- you won't be disappointed. This wood is expensive but with a good finish its well worth it. Shawn Fox
