I wish I could help you...I mostly build box calls and what little slate I use, I buy from <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.pennbigbedslate.com/">http://www.pennbigbedslate.com/</a> They can cut almost any diameter slate you need...I have however roughed out a piece of slate on a scroll saw and then sanded it round with my belt sander but beware it will dull you saw blade and destroy you sanding pads.....My want to ask over on the <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.customcalls.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?board=turkey_brd">http://www.customcalls.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?board=turkey_brd</a> This forum has a wealth of information.
