I do sell calls on Ebay, and in fact have for some time. Today, I sell about as many calls through Calltrader. One thing I would caution anyone about, if selling calls on Ebay.

Making custom calls is an oddity. Everyone has an idea of what a call should sound like. Some like what I call screechers like the Quaker Boy Mini Boat paddle. Others like a deep raspy tone like a Lynch 101. People that like one don't like the other, as a general rule.

I've got a perfect feedback score on Ebay (knock on wood). But remember, someone can buy your call, get a great deal, and be happy with the call. But, then they can be a butthole and leave you bad feedback. This happened to a friend and fellow callmaker. The feedback section of Ebay is inheritantly unfair to a seller.

With that in mind make your ads clear and factual. Try to account for the sound of your call as best you can in words. But do everything to satisfy the buyer if possible.

Some people say buyer beware...On Ebay you can also add seller beware.

Good luck and e-mail me if you want some tips or other ideas...Good Luck on Ebay!

Chip
