Subject: Kangi's Tank .... or "a bird in the hand" ....

Well, my learning curve has hit a snag, or maybe a little more honestly a switchback -- so I haven't been able to upload the full shimmering page on Kangi's Tank to our new website yet, and probably won't for awhile [since its Sunday already, wow how the time flies !] ....

Rather than make everyone wait I've added the 3 key pics to our photo album, and you'll just have to imagine them set all on one page against a silvery background with navy blue text next to each (looks pretty snazzy in my computer -- wish I could just e-mail it to you LOL !)

Here's the main story, as I found on a Tanks website, and why I knew this one just had to be Kangi's Tank:
---------------------------------------
Renault FT-17/18 Light Tank (French)
Known as the Mosquito. One of the most successful of all World War 1 tanks and probably the most popular and versitle light tank in history. It was the first of the classic tank designs which featured a turret with a 360-degree traverse. Over 3000 were built during the war alone. The main drawback was the design took in little thought for maintenance and repair, and the tanks broke down often as a result. The FT-17 was often used in mass attacks. 480 were used in the counterattack near Soissons in July 1918 alone. This tank remained in service right up to 1944 when the Germans used them in the street fighting in Paris.

Specifications:
Crew 2, Weight 7.5 tons
16'long, 5'wide, 7'high
One 37mm gun, 35hp 4cyl Renault engine
maximum speed 4.8 mph
----------------------

Now, the one thing I can't figure out is ....
Kangi, how did you ever teach that Raven of yours to drive a tank ??
