In all honesty, I am skeptical of her story.

I don't know her, but I have her voice on tape, and it is as an angel's.

However, I am skeptical that her involvement with drugs is completely the result of a battering relationship that she was unable to leave.

I am not saying I could not be convinced it is true. I could be. But I do not find her public statement to be persuasive or exactly to jibe with the facts of her plea.

I also realize that since my admiration for her work comes from a distance and I don't know her personally, I have a whole lot less invested than a Dineh person would have. So anything I say about THIS PARTICULAR CASE is a cheap shot taken from the cheap seats.

If she wanted to go to trial and that was her defense and it is true, she would want me to be the judge. Otherwise not.
