I've found that animals, particularly cats that can "make it" in the wild, are a lot smarter than we give them credit for .... maybe there is some ingredient in that Dental Diet that is especially good for him -- didn't you say the vet found an abcessed tooth that started all this ??

You can try the liver and the other things, can't hurt :o). But if he still wants that special kibble, why not water it down and let him go for it ?? Who are we to know what its doin' for him ?
