You don't need conventional credentials at really good schools--only at crappy ones.

Only the good schools--University of Chicago, University of Texas-Austin--would take me.

I was turned down by University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (should have tried Madison), Southwest Texas State....most places wouldn't even give me an application.

Knowing now how things work, I could have gone to Harvard.
