I've never heard of that! Perhaps some stores do that here - to be honest I think their greatest boast is "photos developed within 3 hours", I've never seen an offer of scanning in. But then I haven't investigated because it hadn't even occurred to me it might be possible via a shop. I'll have to remember to enquire.
