awright, so here we are, at the Mtn side and the two brothers have found the tracks of puppy1 going into the side of the mtn. And they hear strange sounds inside till they figure out that the noises are animal.

So they figure that crow(gagii) has hidden the animals inside the Mtn and wonder why? and how can they get the animals back out?? because only crow had the magic words to open up the Mtn side??

What to do??

So they decide that since they now knew where the animals were hidden, they could come back and find the place again when they knew what to do.

So they leave from there before crow gets back from his daily rounds of duty. Now that the animals were safe as far as crow was concerned, he went about his other duties of being assistant to buzzard, doing cleanup work where their services were required. It was not a highly desireable position, but it was something they had got themselves into due to buzzards jealousy of the twin brothers. BUT!! thats another story......

So the brothers, once they walk out of there without being detected, they make a beeline for their home to tell the people what they found and to have a meeting to discuss what to do next.

at the council fire, the brothers tell of their adventures in finding 1st puppy, then letting him go, then trailing him till he led them to a certain Mtn where they heard animals inside the Mtn....

And they also tell what they think was going on, that it must have been crow that hid the animals there, due to the fact that first puppy was involved if only incidentaly ...

So the council gathering try to figure out what to do ? how do we get the animals back? They say, we can't just go there and demand that crow lets them go because he won't do that, he's stingy with them ... ?!!

I forgot to mention that crow has a mate. The female crow is pretty crafty so we can't sneak anything by them that is too easy to detect they say. And they talk into the night, and into the next day .... and so on, till on the fourth night, they brothers come up with a plan that everybody agrees to and think it just might work....
