So the fire is built and the people gather around inside a brush leanto. Nightfall comes quickly as the people are gathering, expectantly and looking anxious for the ceremony to get going.

The plan was to borrow little puppys white coat so that younger brother could use it. The hatali (medicine man) is mtn Lion, and wolf is firekeepr, and the two helpers are coyote and lynx.. The hatali and the patient(younger bro) sit at the west end of the brush leanto, which faces and opens towards the east. Older brother has control of the puppy so it won�t run off without letting them borrow his coat.
All the rest of the people are gathered all the way around inside the brush leanto.

So they hatali(singer) start to sing and the people join in with the singing. And soon little puppy becomes a little boy and younger bro is getting smaller and smaller until he can fit into puppys coat.
This had to be done in order for youger brother to sneak into crows home and release the deer.

Soon, older brother is walking younger bro (the dog) toward the crow home. Older bro hides in the bushes and urges younger bro(the puppy) on towards crows home in the side of the mtn.

Little dog gets up to the door way of crow and starts whimpering and clawing at the door. Soon the door opens and crow daughter steps out and retieves little puppy, and steps back inside .............
