Well to let you wiener eaters and marshmallow munchers know, I�m leaving a lot of details out due to the fact that I heard these stories a long time ago, and some details come back and others haven�t. Anyway, here�s the next installment:

They say that the crow family painted themselves white first before they started for the deer meadow� as well, they also put on their backs gray deer skin coats and even one for the little puppy, so that they would appear to be just animals walking in the canyon. Also, they say that crow man wore a set of antlers and all looked like deer from a distance.

This was what puppy boy had been sent to find out, where were the deer so they could be released, so puppy boy was excited and sorta skeered, cuz if crowman found him out, he would be sliced and diced.

As they walked along, they entered a wide canyon which kept getting narrow as they walked. Pretty soon, the canyon narrowed to a small opening which was blocked by a large slab of rock. Crow man had done this on prupose so that no man could move the boulder....

At this point crow brought out a cane made of turquoise and flint with which he tapped the rock slab 4times, and the rock begin to move to open the canyon entrance� ... to a wide open meadow where grew lots of trees and grass, which was very plenty so the animals were content to stay �

From there, crow called to the deer in a shrill voice �" ohie!�Ohie!� .." and pretty soon a male deer came to them. Crowman tapped the rock again with the cane and the rock slab begin to cover the opening back up. Crow woman covered the rock with sage brush and local debris so that no one would notice that it had been moved .. all during this time, puppy boy was watching and listening very carefully �. So now he had found where the deer were hidden and was thinking that now maybe his friends could get game from now on .. ..

They turned and started walking back home and a short while later, crow man killed the deer and cut the meat up. All but the head, entrails, and bones, he left these intact. These he put back on the hide the way it was before so that the deer would come back to life__
