Oh OnB...that is awful! Just awful!

Three years ago I had taken my owrk into the city and was headed back down a road... and saw this big ol snappin turtle. I was worried that he would get hit because it was a busy road. So I stopped and stopped the traffic behind me. Got a long stick and poked the turtle ... Cars were stoppin on both sides.

A cop walks up anskin me what I was doin. I thought uh oh.
So I poke at the turtle...and he kept moving along at his own pace.

The cop stood there with me... laughing and telling me wa the uglist thing he ever saw. I told him.... not to the turtle's mother.

So it took about 25 minutes...and the turtle was on the other side.

I still think about that day... and remember how no one got upset because I had decided to stop everyone going home, cept the turtle.

Course I was telling a friend and she said... next time get it to bite the stick and move it across. Opps.
