I didn't say I promised. I just mentioned that these are winter time storys and I got carried away with it. Sides, it better to have areal fire and people hangin around so's you can smoke every once in awhile, and its not the store tobacco, its aspecial kind of tobacco cuz this story relates to a certain type of ceremony and at the same time they are teaching stories. And I think someone on here wondered about wheather these are appropriate for children. in ndn , everybody is there when a story is told, from babies to old people around the fire. because its a story of life and living and why things are the way they are. so it benefits everyone in one way ot another. when i was a kid, I didn't understand the references to the intimate nature of some parts of the stories but it was just funny to us then. later on you begin to get an idea of what everything is ... so if you view ndn stories from the perspective of the white society, well its not gonna make sense to you. and thats okay, it's where you're at in your life. in that sense ndn stories alert you to things in your life you may need to work on.
