ya know... I am just gonna say.... there are all different ways of answering a thing, some direct and some not. a straight answer will tell you what you want to know. a crooked answer will often tell you more.

have one friend who never can seem to just tell me what I asked. have often wanted to throw something at his head. mind you, he asks something, I tell him. then it gets all weird and circular from there, so I never do know exactly what he is aiming at when he is asking what I thought was a simple question. on my side of things, I ask a question and he starts talking, and none of it is what I asked about. and he goes on and on and on, me getting more and more irritated, him finding this funnier and funnier. days later I look it over again and realized that even though I think I am standing in the same place, he walked me in a big circle, and I'm in the same place but my question has changed, or I don't have it anymore. he gave me an answer, there was more to my question than I realized at the time.

makes me feel kinda bad for wanting to throw things at his head -- till the next time anyway.

I will give straight answers to unimportant things. with a very very important thing, it often looks like I'm non-answering, or avoiding - but with those things, u see, if I answered the exact question as it was asked, the person would not learn what they need to know. so if they have some patience, and are willing to walk with me for a little ways, sometimes I can lead them to a better question.

this actually has nothing to do with what you asked here
and I don't have any answers for you
and I'm not saying that you might have done anything differently
just explaining why different ways of hearing, that dont involve ears, can be a good thing.

:-D <--- picture that with many white teeth. ;-)
