They just din't know I was there, because I was curled up sleeping quietly in the opposite corner.
I knew to lay there very still and silent, as I did not know to what lengths such a heinous cookie theiving individual would go,(or just how hungry they were), and I did not want to be the victim of a mugging, to remain undiscovered for days on end, there in the dark, only to be found a week later in a comatose state when somebody finally found the doorknob....
I just felt it was smarter to play it that way.
Perhaps to thwart the next attempt on the cookies because I wasn't asleep and vulnerable any more...oh, no, I would have had 5 CUPS OF COFFEE and be wide awake and VIGILANT as I crouched there in the darkness, waiting with great patience and daring...............

Now would such an intrepid defender of the Voy.com Message cookies knock over a delivery truck?
