Thanks John, Kangi, Sunny and Sammy. I assumed my sister-in-law (grandmother) would be the one going nuts over this little one, but I was mistaken. I'm getting a kick out of hearing the stories about my brother-in-law. He's always been a doting grandfather to the grandchildren he already has, but it appears he's going overboard over this one - probably because this is the first "blood" grandchild. My niece tells me he's "in the neighborhood" nearly every other day now and stops by just to hold her. He reminds me of my own father.

Congratulations Kangi! The more the merrier!

Sammy - that may be, but it might be different for you when it's your own. It can be dirty and tiring work, but it's worth it to be present when they let out their first belly laugh and while they discover their surroundings (especially their toes). It gives you a whole new view of the world. I hope you become a father one day - I think you'd make a great father.
