didn't mean to come across as brag'n, bow. you gave me an insight to hogan life, which i had always wondered about, and i was remembering the poor side of ky. like you, we didn't know we were poor until someone told us.:)
we wore patched clothes but they were the cleanest clothes in the county!

and no, those trips were mainly from '60 to '65. i could have been mistaken. those could have been over in ariz. but i don't think so.
another memory of that area; traveling a lonely highway, even in the wee hours and winter time, you could see people walking along the road, miles from any house

lonesme country but my favorite.... prettier than ky, even. :)
