I don't think it is sadm Kangi. When I was a child I knew a man who worked as a gardener/handyman, whatever, also was an expert in the local brick and flint style building in Buckinghamshire, where I lived. He had been, in his 60 years of life, out of his home area once, to London for a football match. He said, "I didn't like it, would never bother go back there". He was not a stupid man at all, he was highly respected by his employers (which is how I met him), a real old country man, one of the most important people to me as I grew up, and I knew him all his life, long after that. I've never met anyone brighter, but I've met a lot wealthier and far more travelled, far more educated. He was contented, he had a life he liked. A lot of us spend much time trying to find that.

I don't think there is anything "sad" about you, sad things have happened to you, and you cope with them very well. Nothing sad about that. You can be proud.

Bella
