Kangi

I'm sorry you had that sadness. I don't know that you're "too old" exactly, although medical wisdom has it that a pregnancy for a woman after the age of 35 and particularly after 40 greatly increases the chance of "abnormalities" (rather a cruel, cold word) to the baby. Although of course plenty of women do have healthy, happy babies in their early 40s and one friend of mine had her first (and only) baby at 47 - she got married late in life.

I think we're designed really to have babies when young, ideally. One thing I thought when reading your post was that you are under so much pressure at the moment, with moving etc, it's possibly expecting a lot of your body to cope with that and a pregnancy. If you're fit, healthy and feel you have that energy, you certainly wouldn't be the first 45 year old to have a happy, healthy baby.

Whatever you decide, hope that you and "the Cherokee" have great happiness together.

Bella
