it's no big thing, lots of people come from ugly homes.
actually I think it's pretty common? anyway, I know a lot of people who had similar stuff. maybe we just gravitate to each other, I dunno.

reason I said something about it was to also say that I was being very careful to state things that were universal about being a kid with older parents, and to show that I knew where the difference was between my personal situation and things that I think are close to universally true for kids who had older parents.

but who knows, maybe I don't see it as clearly as I think I do.
