Thanks for those kind words, and that coffee Sunny, I certainly appreciated that:)

It turned out that it wasn't the server itself, it was my phone line (I don't have a separate line for phone and modem). I was getting so frustrated thinking it was the ISP, I tried signing up for a new one, that didn't work either! But because of the server failure message it didn't occur to me it was a phone line fault - I've hardly used the phone for the past 6 days and having a cold, didn't bother about people not ringing me. I just thought they were all busy. But the connection kept cutting out. The engineer left about an hour ago, and I instantly went online and visited Indianz.com. It's a relief to be back. I haven't got time now to catch up with all messages, I can see this board has been busy with both cheerful and very sad news, but will return later on today. I was more upset about losing the Internet connection than I was about losing the phone - doesn't modern life have a wierd effect!
It just never occurred to me the problem was the line itself not the Internet (it would help if the Internet message was "cannot connect to the Server because you have a fault on your phone line you haven't even noticed, you idiot", instead of just "cannot connect to server".)

Oh dear, after all this anxiety, I think I'll probably drink my way through that entire pot of coffee.

Bella
