As from SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 28, the inner city will have a brand spankin new Sunday session totally dedicated to cleansing the minds, livers and souls of Perth's multitude of punk rock and hardcore lovin communities. The venue for such a night is Amplifier (Rear 393 Murray Street, Perth WA) - the home of all things rock in Perth's inner city. Entitled, "DeToX", the night will essentially be a punk rock and hardcore Sunday Session Superclub with weekly live feature acts, touring acts, album launches and DJ's serving up selections of Punk, Hardcore, Ska, Emo and Garage, all laced with a variety of speed and a heavy dose of volume every Sunday from 8pm Also featured on Amplifier Sunday menu, and will assist many a punter in the successful treatment their Saturday night DT's are the ALL NITE DRINK SPECIALS of $5 PINTS and $5 BOURBONS which can be casually consumed in the Amplifier open air beer garden. Additional to this will be all nite action on the big screen and an extreme close proximity to the finest producers of late night beer munchies the inner city has to offer - City Kebabs!! The weekly instalment of rawkus and rude Sunday Session known as "DeTox" will officially kick off on SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 28 with a huge LONG WEEKEND LAUNCH starring THE DEAD ENDS, MILES AWAY, WHITECHAPEL, THE JACKNIVES and LOVE YOU DEAD plus DJ's THEO & KNOX dishing up sick selections of punk rock, hardcore and everything in between. The night will also be doubling up as the Antiskeptic Afterparty for all those heading to the Newport that night to catch Brisbane's rising punk rock stars.
