Subject: Damn! You got your chap 3 up before my chap2! Oh well.....

Chapter 2: 'The Complications of Family Relations'(First Person: Tayliana)


Throughout the whole time we were at the mall, I had the queerest feeling of being followed. All three of us. It was almost a relief to separate from Amanda and J.T. just to get away from whoever it was. It was a reminder of what I had been feeling for the past few days. A knot in my stomach; nervousness; a sense of foreboding. What made it worse was when Amanda got the dagger. I was also glad that Amanda had her learner's and that I didn't have to drive her home. I needed to be alone, anyway. That, and my back was killing me! When I got home, I decided to take an asprin and lay down for a nap. Although, the events to come when I woke up were not at all what I expected....
At first, I thought one of my cats had gotten into bed with me.
"Alright, who-" Then I saw someting long and thin under the covers. "AAAHHH! A SNAKE!" I threw away the covers to be thrown away, myself. "Huh?? Fur?" I tentavely put out a hand to touch it, and trailed it all the way up to.... my backside???!!! "AHHH! A TAIL! A HAVE A TAIL!" Of course I was stupid enough to start running around to find somebody to talk to, then realized I was the only one home. "How convenient! I have crisis on my backside and nobody's home! On second thought, that's probably a good thing..." I race to the phone to call Amanda.

"Hello?"

“Amanda! You won’t believe what happened to me!”

“What?”

“I... I...”

“Come on, Tay-san! You can tell me! What? Did Joe propose?”

“NO!” What's so interesting to this girl about me and Joe, anyway?!

“Then what?”

“Igrewatail.”

“Say again, hon.”

“Igrewatail.”

“Slower this time, sweetie.”

“I grew a tail!”

“Dowha?”

“I got a tail like my SI! What am I going to do?!” Although, I didn't realize this until I said it outloud.

“Tay, first you’re gonna calm down, then you’re gonna hide that tail. I’ll call ya back in an hour. But whatever you do, don’t look in any mirrors!”

"AN HOUR?!" Of course, I heard dial tone. I guessed I freaked Amanda out, as well. So I had an hour to think. What did she mean not to look in any mirrors? I wondered.
As usual, I was too dimm to NOT look in a mirror. "AHH!" Then I noticed that my tail wasn't the only thing unusual about me. I looked completely different. My hair was darker and thicker; my waist was a whole lot slimmer and well rounded...."My eyes.... They're purple. No, violet..." I stare at myself in awe. Then go into shock," I've become my SI. I'm not just Tayliana, but Tayliana Harusaki, a half Sayin and half Jurian.....O-O AND I'M RELATED TO AYEKA!!"
