Corvus walked briskly back to his pack. A limp rabbit was in his mouth. He was going to give it to Maiku. Her favorite food was rabbit, this would be a real treat for her.

The bird looked at the wolf from the air. There was something about that wolf that seemed she had seen him before somewhere but could not place where. So she followed him.

Corvus heard something above. He looked. Nothing. Decideing that it was most likley a squirrl he moved on with the rabbit.

The bird watched the wolves every move. She was sure this was the one. She wondered how he would react when he saw her. She flew ever so closer.

Corvus spun around. There was the sound again but still nothing. His keen eyes picked up move ment from a high branch on a oak tree. He called in his voice that he only used when he wanted one of his pack members to straighten up. "Who ever you are please show yourself. I mean you no harm, unless you mean some to me."

The bird decided to show herself. Gliding down to a low branch she rested beside the wolves head

Corvus looked at the bird. It was a wonderful bird. It whole body was black. From shiny flight feathers to a jet black cranium the birds whole body was covered in shining black feathers. It's talons, beak, and eyes were a glistining gold. "You are a Glinx Falcon."

The bird was surprised that he new what she was. "How did you know that I was a Glinx Falcon?"

Corvus answered the falcons question. "I used to know one...A long time ago."

"What happened to this other Glix Falcon? Where is he now?"

Corvus answered with pain in his voice "He got killed. By a arrow."

"I can tell this Glix meant a lot to you. But do not be sad my father died of a arrow to. He had a wolf companion."

Corvus looked at the falcon "Was you fathers name Auau?"

The falcon flew into the air and then landed again "How did you kno-Wait are you the wolf that my father had as a companion?"

"I think so. Your feathers are as black as his, but his eyes, and talons were silver."

"My mothers eyes were gold. I got eyes after mother. Feathers after father."

"Are you really the daughter of my best friend?"

"Yes I Am. My name is Nairobi. Which means -Princess of the Night- in falcon language."

"My name is Corvus. I don't know of mine has a meanong or not."

"Your name means -Fast One- in falcon language. Are you fast of foot?"

"I guess I am pretty fast. Hey Nairobi can I ask you something?"

"Yes you may, best friend of my father."

"I was wondering...well you know...being his daughter and all...and would you?"

She smiles "I would love to be your companion. I was going to ask you the same."

He smiles for the first time in many months "Thank You. I want you to meet the rest of my pack. Come you may rest on my back. You father used to."

She landed on the exact spot her father used to sit. Curling her talons under so as not to hurt the wolf. "I can't wait to meet them"

~Then together they walked into the TT...~
