Поэтому и вопрос возник ! А это английское "blue" допускает множество смысловых оттенков.
Кроме того, о чем все подумали, Blue shirts могли проводить неудачные боевые операции, любить то ли небо, то ли море, быть неравнодушными к консерваторам, испытывать пристрастие к непристойностям, находиться под действием алкоголя (это уж как пить дать :))) или наркотиков, чувствовать подавленность и страх (после столкновений с ИРА)...
Вот такой это непростой цвет. "Blue", как много в этом звуке...
