The Gamer made some nice points, how much does an X-Box go for these days, I wouldnt mind getting one. The hard drive factor is a huge, and all things considered, i think that the X-Box may be starting to pull ahead in the race for your money. PS2 is becoming an obsolete system from a technilogical standpoint, Xbox can still run with the best of them. Also, PS2's tend to actually burn out over time, i hear its because of the lens, its a really shitty lens in PS2's, which results in severe slowdown and, in some cases, can cause some discs to not read properly. I think im gonna go out on a limb here and retract my previous vote and vote for Xbox.

The X-box is going for $199 new. On E-bay you can find a bargain though. Probably a used one with two controlers and a game for like 200 if not less.
