Subject: Charlie Chaplin in Dallas?

Hi,
I recently purchased a picture of Charlie Chaplin with an unidentified man. The man looks familiar, but I can't place him...possibly a politician..
Anybody, have any information about Chaplin being in Dallas, TX?
Chaplin and man are wearing the round straw hat that was popular in the 20s?
Any and all information is greatly appreciated.
I can scan it and send it to whomever can help.
Any ideas where I can start?
