Subject: Charlie's music

Does anyone know anything about Charlie's composition, THE PEACE PATROL? I have a record made by Emerson Records that has his signature on it and states that the music was composed by him. The music is performed by the Metropolitan Military Band. I believe Chaplin was a friend of Sousa and was permitted to direct his band on occasion bcause It was something he loved to do. Is it possible he directed the band for this music. The record was produced, I am guessing, during WW1. I believe Charlie did his part for the war efforts by participating in certain events on the home front. Do any of you experts have any information for me. I am new to this board and computers in general. Sincerely, JoJo
