I am currently reading a book on Chaplin and his favorite foods are discussed: Favorite BFast: dollar-size sour-milk pancakes, sausage, marmalade, toast and eggs; haven't read about dinner yet but I'm sure his food tastes leaned on the typical British favorites (kippered herrings, lamb kidneys, etc.). Hope this helps you some....
