Hello to all! I'm glad to see such an interest in Charlie Chaplin's life. I just wanted to see what the interests of people were about Charlie on this website. My name is
R. Chaplin. I am related to Charlie Chaplin through my mother. The only reason I carry the name now is because I got a divorce and wanted a fresh start with a new name so I took my mother's maiden name which is obviously Chaplin. My Aunt, Shirley Chaplin-Olis, has done much research on our family and has much information about Charlie Chaplin. I can't say that I have much knowledge of him but I am beggining to grow interest. What I do find interesting is my cousin Chris Chaplin. He is the last male decendant on my mothers side of the family that has suprisingly enough found his way into entertainment. He worked at Universal Studios in Fl. for a length of time and now works at the one in California. He did some editing work on the movie, Passenger 57 with, (Wesley Snipes). I just thought I'd share this info with you all. I also found it neat to see his name in the credits. He has been working with many other BIG names and I hope he continues to do well.
Best Wishes to all
R. Chaplin
