Former 911 owner who loves his 01/02 M3. Properly broken in,oil change at 1200 {10-60 Castrol} and again at 5600 miles (6 months later). Car has approx 6800 miles at this point and so far the only issues are with the paint which BMW is attempting to dodge. The dealer has been very concerned and helpful on this issue. I am inerested in the progress of all this and disclosure from BMW re: cause, remedy. As a formere 911 owner all of this makes me wish I had stayed stayed with Porsche.
