Subject: Mark Nicholas is great - today at the test
In reply to: fizz 's message, "Today at the Test (without that c**t Nicholas!" on 12:39:08 09/08/05 Thu

Predictions Friday 8am :

England - 350-360

Australia - 550

Hayden and Gilly to get runs

England, the team who have obtained the most wickets in world cricket through sub fielders in the last 5 years, to have at one point 8 sub fielders on, and one of them to be D Beckham from Essex 'cos he fancied playing there'

Richie Benaud to utter the words Spirit of the Game during commentary.

England to bat again before close of play Sat

England to struggle to make the runs needed as Warney shows his class on Sunday

Australia to win (weather permitting)

Duncan Fletcher to not get his UK passport

Richies final words of commentary to be 'Innings closed. Goodbye everyone.'

Mind you couple of interesting trends in this series :

Glen McGrath trend :

1st test - McGrath fully fit, Australia win
2nd Test - McGrath out, England win
3rd Test - McGrath back but not fully fit, draw
4th Test - McGrath out, England win
5th Test - McGrath back,?????????????

Batting first trend :

1st Test - Australia batted first and won easily
2nd Test - 4th Test - England batted first and have been on top in every game
5th Test - England bat first, ?????????????
