Here is a couple of messages under 'Early Season Form' on the NOSCA message board

"Fochabers look an interesting prospect.

Winning away to Ross County and a narrow loss to Keith shows that they are ready to mount a consistant challege for the Nosca title. "

and

"i have to agree it is far too early to determine who is going to win the league. and i think if corsie keeps playing this well why is he wasting his time in this standard does he not want to see how good a player he is by introducing himself into a better standard of cricket. i think fochabers is a team to look out for judging by recent results. heres hoping the league goes right to the wire "

and

"Agreed, far to early to tell but Fochabers did look good against Highland. Their youngsters are impressive. "

and here is a recent match report

"Fochabers continued to shine as they edged out a 10 man Lossiemouth side at Castle Park. Batting first, the hosts put on a challenging yet attainable 178 for 8. Just as he did last week, John Sugden played an important role with the bat, making 64. Mark Stockwell also added 33, as Steven Murphy took 3 for 44. The airmen got close to their target, but were eventually dismissed for 169. Steven Murphy fell just short of what would have been a second half century this year, while teammates Ian Walsh and Dave Baines added 25 and 22 respectively. For the home side, Pete Booth took 3 for 34 to help give his team the win. "

Sounds like they have made a good start to the season.
