Subject: Anwar

I don't know about anyone else, but from a purely neutral point of view I think I enjoy watching an in form Anwar bat as much as anyone.
Steve Waugh, Hussain, Dravid, Chanderpaul, Atapattu and Fleming can be pretty interesting, but more through sheer doggedness than anything else. Trescothick, Gibbs, Jayasuriya, Gayle Hayden, Shewag, Astle, Inzaman and MacMillan are capable of being match turningly aggressive. Flintoff, Cairns, Afridi and Klusner have the potential to turn a game in 5 overs.
However for me Anwar just looks like he belongs at the crease. He seems so confident that he hardly looks like he is trying when he's in touch and almost seems disinterested. Even though Tendulkar is the best in the world, only Lara and Ponting, and increasingly Vaughan, have ever looked as much at home as Anwar in my opinion.
