*content that he was settled for the night, she smiled, moving out the door, pausing for a moment in the threshold to glance back at him. He really was a cute child. Leaving the door cracked, she turned on the hall light, unsure if he was afraid of the dark or not. That done, Briallan moved back into the dinning room, pouring some milk in a bowl and leaving it out on the table with the remaining dishes, while she put the food away. The Brownies that lived in the apartment would take care of the dishes for her, along with any other household chores that didn't get done that day. Stifling a yawn, she bolted the door and turned out most of the lights. Stealing one last peek at the sleeping form in the other room, she found herself smiling once again before she drifted back into her room. Chuckling at the mess they had made of the bedding, she quickly made the bed and dressed for bed. Now donning a black tanktop and camo-patterned shorts, she slid under the linen sheets; reflecting upon all that had happened. Seeing him happy had made all this worth it. Snuggling against a pillow, she felt the weight of something rest against the crook of her legs, resting its head on her thigh. Nothing like a friendly neighborhood barghest to cuddle with. Misunderstood creatures, but as long as they didn't work against her then they were welcomed here. This one in particular seemed to like her bed. Great. Now her sheets were going to start smelling like dog all the time. This one needed a name, but that could wait for now. For now, it was time for sleep. Mind dimming, she slowly drifted off to sleep.*
