Subject: Laptop not working.

Hi,

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-K315B and I went to turn it on recently and it flashed up with:

Resource Conflict – PCI Mass Storage Controller on Motherboard
Bus:00, Device:0F, Function:00

I don't know a great deal about computers and I was going to send it back to sony, but the warranty has run out.

Any tips/advice/potential solutions to the problem would be greatfully received.
