Subject: Presario 1277 BIOS password reset

Hi, I have a Compaq Presario 1277 laptop i'm trying to upgrade the CD and memory and need into the bios. I can not remember the bios password and can not acess the BIOS.
is this a bios that can be rest by removing the little round battery?
need some help on my options
