Subject: Toshiba 1005-157S will not power up

I have a Toshiba 1005-157S that had a broken power socket for the ac power connector, i resoldered the connection and now the battery will charge, but the system will not power on and post, all the LEDS flash once then teh battery light goes yellow for a second then off.

any ideas?
