Subject: gateway solo 9100

hi, glad to have come across this forum! i have a gateway 2000 solo model 9100. the problem i have is the laptop will power up, but there is not post on screen (bios info). the screen is completely black. the keyboard does not appear to work either. i can hear the processor and the harddrive working but thats it. if you have any info on this i would surely appreciate it and thanks again for a great forum.
