Subject: toshiba satellite 2520cds blank screen

the laptop not even make the POST, when i turn on the laptop, the 3 left leds turn on but not those on the right ( hdd led and floppy/cdrom led ) it sound that there is somthing working but notting, I think is the cmos batterie that is dead but i wasn't unable to open the case.
if someone have an idea of the problem or know how to open this model.
